Peter has been racing
since 1990 when he started on a Suzuki RGV250 in the production class, he then progressed
in 1992 to a Suzuki GSXR750L which he campaigned successfully on to finish 2nd in the BRC
1300 production championship of that year. He campaigned the same machine to the same
position in 1993.
1995 saw a season on a Yamaha YZF1000 in
the same championship on which he finished 2nd again. Proving his amazing consistency.
1997, 1998 and 1999 have seen Peter finish
as the Open Superstock Champion. Both Peter and his mechanic Nick Webb quietly go about
the business of winning races and championships with a professional style that works very
well. Peter is definately the man to beat, and fearlessly puts himself out there as the
target.
Peter has staked his claim as the master
of Open Superstocks and throws down the gauntlet to all comers. In 2000 he plans to take
the Championship for the fourth time, and with his determined self belief and undoubted
ability a fourth trophy in his cabinet seems likely.
