MALLORY PARK SUNDAY 30th MAY.

First three rows again! Fantastic! Weather glorious, unlike the rain and wind that was forecast.

"Ok, which one of you owns this red tea towel"?

Race one

Steve was on pole position along side Kieron, Malcolm and Peter.

A flying start was had by all, Steve led into Gerrards with the big twin of Pensavalle on his tail, followed by Malcolm, Neil, Gary, Jes, Rob, Gary, Mark, Ray,. Pete and poor Kieron were being bulked by the slower twins.  Steve had a big lead over Jes who was in second place, the 25 points looked to be his when the race was red flagged on the penultimate lap! Steve had high sided out of Edwina’s! Jes took first place with Neil in second, Malcolm 3rd Rob 4th Gary 5th Mark 6th Ray 7th Pete 8th and Kieron 9th. Fastest lap went to Mark 59.50@84.10 m.p.h.

Steve was taken to the medical centre from which he managed to escape! Having sustained torn ligaments in his right leg, is now hobbling around on crutches.

Mr Cool......

 Race two

Both Steve and Rob will be sitting this one out, Steve because of injuries and Rob because he was having a suspected oil problem.

Malcolm was first out of the box ahead of Neil and Jes, Malcolm held first position for three further laps before handling became a nightmare. Neil took on the lead with Jes right behind him, Mark followed in their wake, Gary was just in front of Ray who was having a great race. Malcolm was fighting the big FZ round in the hoard of twins around him. Peter and Kieron followed in tandem.  The race finished with Neil taking the win, followed in by Jes and Mark. Fasted lap went to Neil. 59.11 @ 84.66 mph.

Again great racing, see you at Oulton Park on 19th June
