CLASSICSUPERBIKES
TYPE APPROVAL Named motorcycles (see list) with a capacity of 750cc manufactured from or after 1990 with a cut of date of 1994, will be known as class A. Named motorcycles (see list) with a capacity over 751cc or to unlimited capacity manufactured from or after 1990 with a cut of date of 1994, will be known as class B. The engine MUST remain in the frame of origin unless so designed by an independent chassis manufacturer. i.e. Harris, Bimota, Moto Martin etc…
NON APPROVED
Any racing motorcycle that is eligible for any other Era based class i.e. Forgotten Era, Earlystocks and classics. Not approved is the installation of an engine from class A or B into another Classic Superbike class chassis i.e. an EXUP engine into an OWO1 chassis.

TECHNICAL REGULATIONS
1. The frame must be the unit originally supplied by the manufacturer of the approved model. 2. The swinging arm unit and all rising rate linkage components maybe changed. 3. Rear shock absorber may be changed, but existing chassis mounting points must be used. 4. Front forks may be changed. 5. Wheels may be changed to any type, modern or era. 6. Moulded tyres, wets and slicks may be used. 7. Brakes can be changed to any type modern or era. 8. Yokes clipons/handlebars, rear sets and exhausts may be changed. 9. Patent bodywork can be changed, but original styling must be retained. 10. Engine: All original crankcases, external covers must be used. 11. Factory oversize pistons are permitted in 750cc class A. 12. Any carburettors can be used, modern or era. 13. Cannibalism will take place at only certain circuits this year, weather permitting! 14. Only machines registered with The Open Superstock Club will be permitted to race in any of the Superstock classes. 15. OIL CONTAINMENT: All fairings must be dammed in accordance with the A.C.U. rules. See ACU handbook. 16. As we do not police the rules we are relying on the honesty of riders with regard to engine capacities.
